Your information. Handled with care.

What the website collects, where your brief goes and how to ask us about your data.

Last updated: 9 September 2026.

Cinderva Studio is responsible for the personal information collected through this website and its project enquiry form. Contact us at hello@cinderva.studio about this policy or your information.

Information you provide

The brief asks for your business or project name, a description, your name and your email. You may also provide a phone number, website address, project preferences, budget, timeline, reference links and referral source. Optional fields can be left blank.

We use this information to respond to your request, prepare a proposal and, if you engage us, deliver the project. Please do not put passwords, payment details or sensitive personal information in your brief.

Where your brief goes

Submitted briefs are stored in Airtable for project enquiry management. The same brief may be sent to our internal Slack workspace as a notification. Our hosting provider processes the request to deliver the website and its API.

These providers may process data outside the UK. Their contractual terms and applicable international-transfer safeguards govern that processing. You can contact us for information about the providers involved in your enquiry.

Project deposits

If you accept a proposal and pay a project deposit, Stripe processes the payment and related billing information. Cinderva receives payment status and transaction references, but Stripe hosts the payment form and Cinderva does not collect or store your full card details.

We use the payment status and references to perform our contract, reconcile the agreed deposit and maintain required business records. Stripe's handling of payment information is governed by its own privacy terms.

Diagnostics and browser storage

We use Sentry for error monitoring and performance diagnostics. Diagnostic records can include technical information about the browser, device, requested page and an error. Hosting infrastructure can also process IP addresses and request logs for security and reliability.

The brief stays in the current page while you edit it. We do not save contact details or written briefs in browser local storage. Refreshing or leaving the page clears an unsent brief. Fonts are hosted with the site rather than fetched from a third-party font service.

Why we process information

For enquiries and project delivery, we process information to take steps at your request before a contract and to perform that contract. Site security, diagnostics and business communications serve our legitimate interests in running a reliable service. Some business records must be retained to meet legal obligations.

We do not sell your personal information or use this enquiry form to enrol you in marketing messages.

Retention

We retain enquiry and project records for as long as needed to handle the enquiry, deliver agreed work and meet applicable record-keeping obligations. Diagnostic retention depends on the provider and our service settings. Contact us to request deletion or ask about the records held for your enquiry.

Your rights

Depending on the circumstances, UK data protection law gives you rights to access, correct, erase, restrict or object to processing, and to receive certain data in a portable format. We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request. Some rights are subject to legal exceptions.

Email hello@cinderva.studio to make a request. You can also raise a concern with the Information Commissioner's Office.

Changes and questions

We update this page when the service or its data handling changes. The date above identifies this version. Ask us if anything is unclear before submitting your brief.
